Dear Treasured Customers,
After collective discussions regarding the seriousness of COVID-19 and our responsibility to the community to do our part to “flatten the curve”, we have decided to close our physical doors to the public, beginning this Friday, March 20th at 4pm, for at least two weeks. However, we want to continue to be there to assist you virtually as, now more than ever, you may have finally found the time to redecorate or at least begin the planning process? Maybe you notice you can use a new chair, table or piece to organize? Or maybe there is a entire room overhaul project you haven’t had the chance to tackle? This idea came to us as several customers contacted me directly to tell me this is an opportunity to shop. One customer, a busy mom and local university employee, claimed that she has been ‘trying to get to the store for months” and hasn’t had the chance. We believe we can assist you in a modified, socially distant and safe way.
What does this mean?
In the age of technology, we can help you remotely. It is big part of our business now, long before this virus halted our way of life. We email, text, send pictures and Facetime with customers while we walk the showroom floor and offer ideas, layouts and advice. If you choose to purchase, a credit card can be taken over the phone. Rick and Brendan, our delivery men extraordinaire have both indicated they would like to continue delivering as needed. Please take advantage of this while you have the downtime. You can email at email@example.com and I will happily respond. If you’d like, I can forward this to your favorite MFB sales person (Patty, Andrea, Donna, Trish, Taryn, KC, Colleen) and they can help you as well. You can send pictures, measurements, thoughts/ideas and we can all collaborate. It can be fun!
On a personal note, my daughter is a member of the health care community on the front lines of this pandemic. We do not underestimate the seriousness of this virus and the need for social distancing to keep us all safe. As a small-ish family owned business, we also understand what this means on an economic level. With a staff of eleven beautiful, kind, dedicated Madison Furniture Barn ‘employees’ (more like family members), I am attempting to navigate uncharted territory with guidance from the professionals at the CDC, in a respectful and responsible way, in order to continue serving our customers for years to come. Like many small businesses, we want to survive this crisis. We all love what we do here at Madison Furniture Barn and that is most certainly because of customers like you.
Look for us on Facebook and Instagram (@madisonfurniturebarn) for design inspirations and updates.
And, even though we don’t normally like to be in videos, this is the world we live in for the moment and
we will do it for you, needed! Again, please contact us at MadisonFurnitureBarn@gmail.com or call us
at 860 399-7846 and I will happily respond. Thank you ALL for your continued support…
I think you know how much we all appreciate it. Please stay healthy.

No Gimmicks, Ever!
Home of the Worry-Free slipcovered modular collection!
For over 20 years, we have been known for our comfortable, slipcovered seating. To be more specific, we sell a heck of a lot of slipcovered sectionals, sofas and swivel gliders.
The majority of our customers appreciate good quality furniture and a beautiful home but also have very active households. Slipcovered furniture is beautiful and impressive yet very easy to maintain. If you have kids or pets or simply like to drink (and sometimes spill) red wine, no worries! You can wash the covers. What fun is a white sofa if no one can sit on it!?
The special feature about our slipcovered line is that the covers are sewn in small sections (each arm, the skirt, the back, and every pillow are separately sewn covers) so they can fit in a basic home washing machine. So, if you spill your coffee on the arm of your sofa? Take off the arm cover and head to your laundry room. Have a dog that enjoys a nice doggie treat on the seat of your chair? Unzip it and throw that cover in the machine. The ‘small section’ feature of our slipcovers is priceless!
There are so many other attributes we would be happy to describe, such as available styles, sizes and shapes. Just ask anytime.
Donna is beyond an asset to your company. She was incredibly helpful to us and not pushy at all! We will be back, we are thrilled!
Madison Furniture Barn continues to be our ‘Go To’ store for furniture purchases! I often refer people to Patty (over the past 15 years!)
Trish was such a delight to work with and very knowledgeable. The delivery men were terrific and very professional. It is a terrific store and team!
Andrea was VERY patient with me while I couldn’t make up my mind about waht sectional I wanted!! I will definitely be back! Love the products and the people that work at MFB!
Patty has made our house a home!! We love working with Patty and the entire MFB family!
Service was VERY good. The prices were competitive as compared to ‘big box’. I have already recommended to a friend!!
